What is Spiritual Direction?
Spiritual direction is a contemplative practice that involves meeting with a trained spiritual director who helps you notice, respond to, and integrate God's presence and activity in your life. Unlike therapy or counseling, spiritual direction focuses specifically on your spiritual journey and relationship with God.
In our sessions, I create a safe, confidential space where you can explore your spiritual questions, experiences, and longings. I listen deeply to your story and help you discern the movement of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life.
What to Expect
Our spiritual direction sessions typically last 55 minutes and begin with a moment of silence to center ourselves. I may offer a reading or brief exercise to help you transition into this time. You'll then have the opportunity to share whatever is on your heart—questions, experiences, struggles, or insights related to your spiritual journey.
As your spiritual director, I don't provide answers or solutions, but rather accompany you as you listen to God’s guidance already present in your life. I may ask questions, suggest spiritual practices, or offer observations to help deepen your awareness.
