About Andrea Manor

Spiritual Director, Guide, and Contemplative Practitioner

Andrea Manor

My Journey

My path to becoming a spiritual director began over 15 years ago during a personal spiritual crisis. What started as a search for meaning in my own life evolved into a calling to help others navigate their spiritual journeys.

After experiencing the profound impact of spiritual direction in my own life, I felt called to offer this same gift to others. I completed my certification at the Spiritual Direction Institute in 2010 and have been accompanying individuals on their spiritual journeys ever since.

My Approach

My approach to spiritual direction is rooted in deep listening, compassionate presence, and honoring each person's unique spiritual path. I believe that the divine speaks to each of us in different ways, and my role is to help you recognize and respond to that voice in your life.

With a background in contemplative practices, I create a safe and sacred space for exploration, questions, and growth. Whether you're navigating a spiritual transition, seeking deeper meaning, or simply wanting to nurture your connection with the divine, I'm here to walk alongside you.

Education & Training

  • Certification in Spiritual Direction, Spiritual Direction Institute (2010)
  • Master's Degree in Spiritual Formation, Portland Seminary (2012)
  • Advanced Training in Ignatian Spirituality, Jesuit Spiritual Center (2014)
  • Certification in Contemplative Prayer Practices, Contemplative Outreach (2016)
  • Ongoing education in various contemplative traditions and practices

My Personal Practice

My own spiritual practice includes daily contemplative prayer, regular retreats, and ongoing spiritual direction. I believe that to guide others effectively, I must continue to nurture my own spiritual life and remain open to growth and transformation.

I draw wisdom from various spiritual traditions while being rooted in my own Christian contemplative practice. I welcome people of all faiths, spiritual backgrounds, and those who are spiritually curious but don't identify with a particular tradition.
