About Andrea Manor

Spiritual Director, Guide, and Companion

Andrea Manor

My Journey

My path to becoming a spiritual director began in 2010 during a personally difficult season of life. What started as a search for a deeper understanding of God’s love for me evolved into a calling to help others navigate their spiritual journeys.

After experiencing the profound impact of spiritual direction in my own life, I felt called to offer this same gift to others. I began the Dovehouse Ignatian Spiritual Direction Training program in 2020, completed my certification in 2023 and have been accompanying individuals on their spiritual journeys ever since.

My Approach to Spiritual Direction

I believe that God is always present and actively working in our lives and the world, even when we are unaware of it. This profound truth shapes how I walk alongside individuals seeking a deeper connection with God.

My passion lies in helping people become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body responses, recognizing these as potential pathways to encounter God. I offer a space of deep listening and gentle guidance, encouraging you to explore your inner landscape with curiosity and trust.

Drawing upon a rich tradition of spiritual practices, I will support you in:

  • Reflecting on your experiences of prayer and daily life to discern the subtle movements of the Spirit.
  • Paying attention to your deepest desires and longings, believing they can point toward God's call.
  • Learning tools for discernment to navigate decisions and discover God's will in your life.
  • Cultivating a more intimate and responsive relationship with Jesus, inviting Him into all aspects of your being.

My role is not to provide answers, but to accompany you on your unique journey of faith, helping you to notice God's loving presence and action in the tapestry of your life. Together, we will explore how to invite Jesus into your thoughts, feelings, and bodily experiences, fostering a closer and more authentic journey through life.
